Ⅰ. Construction preparation made by Party A

1. Construction site preparation

(1) Before receiving equipment, make sure there is no obstacle on the site and the site is accessible and flat with enough water and electricity; 

(2) Confirm temporary roads are unblocked and, water and electricity supply is in place.

(3) Ensure processing equipment and construction equipment is installed correctly. 

2. Technical preparation

(1) Seriously study design drawings and relevant specifications, procedures and standards, record drawings issues, and require the design unit to make design briefing and drawing review. 

(2) Provide technical training and make detailed technical briefing according to the design drawings, technical documents and relevant specifications and standards as well as the actual conditions of the construction site. 

(3) Determine the construction principle: based on the actual conditions of the project, first install equipment and then pipeline, with main pipes ahead of branch pipes, and coordinate equipment installation with the construction of other parts. 

3. Material preparation 

(1) Material preparation: According to material analysis and construction schedule, Party A shall develop a material list to prepare materials for the construction, confirm the size of warehouse and construction site and determine transport paths. The intensity of transport roads must meet transport requirements. 

(2) Construction equipment: According to the construction plan and schedule, Party A shall prepare an equipment list for the construction. Water, electricity and gas shall meet construction requirements. 

4. Labor organization and preparation 

(1) Establish a site labor organization with a sound, reasonable and effective structure. The Company shall set up an engineering department to manage and monitor the whole process. 

(2) According to the actual conditions of the project, establish a qualified professional construction team. Organize workers to enter the site and arrange for their livelihood, as well as provide relevant training on safety, security, fire protection and civilized construction based on the commencement date and the labor force plan. 

(3) Provide good worker education and implement the construction plan and technical accountability management system; make technical briefing according to the management system, including the construction progress, monthly/weekly operation plans, process standards and safety/technical measures, cost control measures, quality assurance measures, quality standards and acceptance requirements for each divisional project; arrange exam. for special operation, establish and improve various rules and regulations and strengthen discipline and education.

Ⅱ. Installation methods and technical measures

1. Container and tower equipment installation

Installation steps

Basic acceptance → setting out → equipment in place→ positioning roughly→ positioning accurately → fixing.

(1) Before transporting tanks to the site, work with relevant personnel of Party A to inspect road and ground conditions and indicate the position of trench and underground pipeline, as well as use steel plates to protect them.

(2) After transporting tanks to the site, work with relevant personnel of Party A to check equipment and make a record. Lifting personnel shall check cranes and rigging.

(3) No entry within the lifting operation range. Warning signs and banners shall be posted around the range and a person designated to manage the entrance.

(4) Unload in a steady way.

(5) Adjust the crane and simulate the process of lifting, rotation and position. After confirming everything goes well, start lifting.

2. Pump installation

(1) Check the size, position and elevation of bases on which pumps are installed and ensure these parameters meet engineering design requirements.

(2) Forbid dismantling parts which have been assembled and adjusted before delivery.

(3) When connecting the motor and the pump, align according to the pump axis. If the motor is connected to the pump by a machine, align according to the machine axis.

(4) When installing pumps, the vertical and horizontal level should not exceed 0.1/1000. Measure based on the machining surface to prevent equipment from inclining.

(5) The coaxiality of connecting shaft shall comply with technical documents and equipment specifications.

(6) When installing pumps side by side, their centers shall be in a straight line.

(7) Install shock absorbers on pump bases.

(8) Regularly clean lubrication, sealing, cooling and hydraulic systems to maintain smooth. Their pressurized parts shall be subject to leak test according to equipment technical documents. If there is no relevant document, conduct the test according to the national standard Standards on Industrial Metal Pipe Construction and Acceptance.

(9) Pump commissioning can begin only there is a medium. The commissioning medium or alternative medium shall meet design requirements.

3. Pipe installation

Construction steps

Follow the principle of first installing main pipe and then branch pipe, with large pipe ahead of small pipe. Process pipe installation procedures are as follows:

Studying drawings →measuring and setting out→ pipe prefabrication→ bracket mounting→ pipeline rust removal and painting →pipe installation →pipe welding →intensity test →blowing →finishing coat (insulation)→completion data.
